Holmac began its business in 1969, making precision products for use on machine tools. In the early 1970s, the company specializes in the production of hydraulic pumps and components that are used in wood presses and garage bridges. In the late 1970s, the first hydraulic pump with a motor dipped in oil was successfully tested.
